New time for organised social tennis at Bassendean Tennis Club:

From the 16th February 2013 social play will be on a Saturday afternoon starting at 2pm (March to November) and 3pm (December to February). There will no longer be organised social play on a Friday evening and a Sunday afternoon. There will also be a regular social event, monthly, on the second Saturday of the month.  

Bassendean Tennis Club (BTC) is a small, inclusive and culturally diverse club which welcomes new members and visitors and is situated on Hamilton Street near Guildford Road.

The facility has 2 prominent blue rebound ace courts and 2 synthetic grass courts available all year round and 4 grass courts used during summer. BTC also has access to three adjacent to the main facility.

New members are most welcome. Visitors are also very welcome and can join social play for a fee of $10 per session.

BTC is in a developing stage with a substantial increase in membership of young adults in the past two years. One of the State’s top ranked players, Cameron Fenner was appointed as club coach in late 2009 with the primary aims of developing a junior program and providing coaching to club members and the general public.

Along with social play BTC has competitive tennis through regular pennants teams, and intra-club championships and special events.
